Our Co-owner, Erin Osterkamp, brings a wealth of experience and compassion to our team. After dedicating 12 years of her life as a pediatric oncology and hematology nurse at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, Erin joined Quality Comfort in 2020 with a vision beyond just providing exceptional home services. For her, it was paramount to continue her mission of helping children battling cancer.
Through our partnership with CancerFree KIDS, we actively participate in supporting promising pediatric oncology research that might otherwise lack the necessary funding. Here are some statistics about childhood cancer that you may not be aware of.
If you have ever had a heating or cooling installation with us, then you received a box of cookies after your job was complete. That box of cookies came from Cookies for Kids’ Cancer. This organization spawned from a 2-year old’s diagnosis which resulted in a bake-a-thon where 96,000 cookies were sold to raise money for research. Their vision is that no family is ever told “we have run out of options.” We are so proud to be able to continuously support this organization and their mission to fund pediatric cancer research.
